Melody Lane

We went to the Melody Lane Academy of Performing arts Christmas recital last night at the Capitol Theater to watch my friend Stacy's daughter Miranda and some students dance their socks off. It was the best recital I've seen. The smallest ballerinas had the tutu's that were so huge and puffy it gave you chills (cute overload!) and most of them had little clue what they were doing but they were trying and there was always one who was stealing the show! The oldest dancers were outstanding. One kid will be seen dancing on stages in New York, I'm sure of it. And Miranda just lights up the stage. She is such a talented little dancer and her smile just gives you goosebumps. Her first dance was a contemporary dance and as soon as I spotted her the tears started pouring! I'm such a wussy girl!

Anyway, it was soooo good and I'm very impressed with Melody Lane. Now I wish I had my own little girl to dress up and watch her dance! Some day!
